This downloadable knitting pattern using basic knit and purl stitches with some M1 shaping to create a gorgeous floaty mini mohair cardigan. The techniques in the pattern are suitable for confident beginners, but please do bear in mind that it’s quite a lenthy project (estimated 50 hours to complete) and can feel a little fiddly to begin with.
Knit with two strands of yarn, it’s a lovely repetitive knit on circular needles, back and forth, so it means no sewing up at the end! With raglan style arms and gently ballooned sleeves, this cardigan is such a gorgeous accessory for the warmer months and looks beautiful layered in the cooler months
Top tip: This pattern uses two strands of yarn at the same time – find both ends of the same ball (one on the outside, one just inside the middle), place them together and knit as if they are one yarn.
Small (UK 6-12): Body Circumference (below sleeves) 107cm
Medium (UK 14-20): Body Circumference (below sleeves) 124cm
Large (UK 22-28): Body Circumference (below sleeves) 141cm
Length is determined by you, we’ve knit ours to approx 50cm. If you want to knit it longer you’ll need more yarn.
