Knitting Kit – Oh Hey Gilet!

This stylish gilet is a gorgeous project for intermediate knitters. Made in our Big Little Yarn it is not only super soft but washable too.

Choose a colour for the main gilet and then add an accent colour for the i-cord trim & ties – or knit the whole thing in one colour. You have the option of adding pockets or not, and if you prefer you can leave the ties off too.

It is knit from the bottom up in one panel, splitting for the armholes and joining again at the shoulder seams using kitchener stitch. The waistcoat is then trimmed all the way around in a clever applied i-cord, where you pick up and knit along the edge while creating the trim effect.

Available in sizes 6-28, and it fits to size. Such a stylish wardrobe accessory that you’ll adore making and wearing.
