Knitting Kit – ‘Circe du Beanie’ Striped Hat

This adorable striped hat is a beautifully quick and easy knit. With three size options in the pattern, the kit has enough yarn to make two hats in any size. Go for a ‘mummy & me’ set or knit one for you and your bestie.

These hats are constructed using the German short rows method – knitting around the circumference of the hat rather than the length of it. You will knit part of the row, turn and repeat. It is a simple and effective way of knitting the hat and means the effect of the stripes really add to the design.

Wear the hat as a slouchy beanie or fold over the rim for a lovely finish – the reverse of the hat is as effective as the front and adds a lovely layer of texture!
