Knitting Kit – ‘Flyaway’ Mini Mohair Shawl

A dreamy mohair knit kit perfect for confident beginners.

Create a floaty flyaway shawl that can be knit up as big as you like. We’ve used two balls for the size pictured, but you can just carry on knitting until it’s more of a wrap – it’s totally up to you how big you want to make it.

This pattern is lovely and repetitive and just uses knit stitch with a decorative edging.

There are so many ways of styling this shawl but we particularly love adding one of our pearl doer-uppers to fasten and add a hint of sparkle too.

Creating a wrap style instead of a shawl by continuing to knit until it’s the size you’d like (you’ll need to purchase more yarn if you fancy this!)

Top tip: This pattern uses two strands of yarn at the same time – find both ends of the same ball (one on the outside, one just inside the middle), place them together, and knit as if they are one yarn.
