This knitting pattern is great for intermediate level knitters. It uses a combination of two different stitches and different coloured yarn. The contrast adds interest to the softness of the cover, and makes a perfect gift too – a must-have for colder evenings!

The pattern allows you to knit a cover for a standard sized 2 litre hot water bottle – the ribbed neck stretches enough to allow you to insert (and remove) the bottle.
