This easy knitting pattern is great for beginners. Create a stylish oversized cardigan in no time, using just basic knitting stitches – it’s so straightforward.
The Dreamy Oversized Cardigan is a beautiful chunky knit and just perfect for the winter months. It’s created in panels and sewn together at the end. The sleeves are three-quarter length and baggy while the body sits between the hip and knee. The bottom, cuffs and neck are finished with a rib while the rest of the cardi is simple and classic stockinette stitch.
The style works with so many outfits and was designed with both summer evenings outside and cosy winter days in mind.
Tension:
Tension is really important for this pattern – If you’d like it slouchier (which is our preference!) then keep your tension nice and loose. If you’re wanting it more fitted then keep your stitches tighter.
One Size only – fits UK size 6-26 Approx 80cm wide, 90cm long when laid flat.
