Returns

We hope you are completely happy with your Lauren Aston Designs purchase but if you are not satisfied and would like to talk about returns, please feel free to contact us on info@laurenastondesigns and we can discuss the issue and come to an agreement on how best to address it.

In the unlikely event that there is a fault with the product, it needs to be returned for inspection in its original condition, with all the original labels, packaging and proof of purchase within 14 days of receipt. If the goods do not reach us in this condition then your right to a full refund may be affected. Postage will only be refunded if the item is found to be faulty, otherwise the cost of returning the goods will be at your own expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If required, please contact us for the return address stating the issue and when and where the product was purchased. Please notify us within 7 days of receipt if you are unsatisfied with your product for any reason.

When returning an item, it is recommended that you use a recorded service as we are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the post. Items remain your responsibility until they reach us. Return postage costs will not be refunded unless the item is found to be faulty.

Our hand made items will not be accepted for refund due to a change of mind or lack of care. Please pay careful attention to the care instructions that can be found on the website and on the back of swing tickets when the goods arrive. Wool, in particular, needs to be cared for properly in order to ensure your products have a long life.

Our Giant Merino Wool & Giant knit kits sold by the Kg and both are non-refundable once removed from the box as the wool can damage so easily before it’s been processed. If you are in need of a specific colour please contact me before placing an order so samples can be sent out for you to see the exact colour.

Unused yarn that has been sent as part of a knit kit is also non-refundable, due to the pricing structure of the kits and trying to reduce carbon footprint.

Exchanges

If you change your mind about your kit or your yarn, or you are gifted something you would like to replace we are happy to do so, as long as it is completely unused. Please return in its original condition and let us know what you would like it swapped for.

Please be aware that you are responsible for the postage charges on sending orders back to us (as above), and we will also invoice you the postage fee of £3.95 for sending an exchange out. If payment is not made for the replacement item postage we are unable to send it.

Bespoke Items

If an item is created to bespoke criteria, that is to say if it has been made to specific size or colour then it is not eligible for a refund. Please do bear this in mind when ordering.
