We’re bringing some exciting news for you today – we have three new colours that we’re adding to our Super Chunky Merino range.
Previously only available in our limited edition shop, these three colours will now be part of our main stock range.
We like to freshen up the colourways every now and again and although we’re adding to our limited range quite regularly, it’s been a while we’ve added to our main shop.
So please say hello to Conifer, Hazelnut & Lemon…
Before we get on to the colours themselves, it’s important to mention that these three colours have replaced three previously available colours.
Mid Grey, Heather & Mint are leaving us – so we’ll be selling the rest of the stock of these until they run out. If you’re wanting to grab some before it’s gone, don’t hesitate! We only have a small amount of Mid Grey 200g left, and they are from mixed dye lots so we are selling this off at a discount. You can find that here. First up – Lemon! You’ll have seen this beauty before as it’s part of our pastel bundle and we’ve offered it before as a promotion – most recently as a Mummy & Me vest set. It’s always hugely popular so we thought we’d bring it in to the main shop.
It’s a perfect shade for Spring especially and tends to go with loads of different colours but we love the grounding tones of forest & pewter to really make it sing.
Next we’ve got Conifer. This is such a beautifully sumptuous shade of green that we couldn’t resist adding it to the collection. Conifer hasn’t been with us for that long, but subscribers may recognise it from a couple of previous sub boxes.
It’s a colour that can be used all year round – it’s bright enough to be a Summer vest and festive enough to be knit as a Christmas jumper. We reckon it’s going to be a popular one!Â
Pair it with brights to make it pop even more or pastel shades for real on trend style. We’ve used it with Candyfloss for our Roll up Knit Down and we are in LOVE, as well as pairing it with Bright Pink for our Super Purlfect vest. This colour is an absolute winner!
And finally we have Hazelnut. Aside from a surprise sub box back in 2021 we’ve not stocked hazelnut on the shelves and after we brought it back for LADvent we thought it would make a gorgeous addition to our range.
Brown tones are always a little marmite – I (Helen) love a bit of brown but it’s not on top of Lauren’s list haha! But we really think Hazelnut breaks the mould.Â
It’s such a rich shade that it will shine with loads of our colours – but we’ve opted to pair it with Soft Peach and Emerald for a retro feel in our Chevron Vest (soon to be launched…) We’ve also knit the cable knit in Hazelnut and it is just divine!!
So that’s the lowdown! We’re pretty obsessed, we must admit, and cannot wait to knit up a load more of our patterns in these shades to see which ones work the best.
